Rockport is a coastal town on the North Shore about an hour
away from Boston, and therefore a perfect day trip. Rockport is a
quintessential New England port town, meaning historic neighborhoods, shopping,
and of course lobster. We answered the call of our bellies with the last
lobster roll of the summer at Roy Moore’s Lobster Co., topped our meals with
delicious cones from the Fudgery, picked up some souvenirs at Tuck’s Taffy
Store, and finished the day with sunset at the Old Harbour. What a perfect way
to end my final summer in New England.
